Astonishing, artful, subtle, and strong: It is our pleasure to present five films that have been in the spotlight at Vienna Shorts in recent years: Bella by Thelyia Petraki won the international competition, Hysteresis by Robert Seidel convinced the audience to vote for experimental animation, Fish Like Us by Raphaela Schmid and The Natural Death of a Mouse by Katharina Huber were each crowned by the jury and the audience, while Will My Parents Come to See Me won the Austrian competition.
