For almost three decades, the Belgrade Auteur Film Festival (FAF) has been searching for a complex, comprehensive and authentic image of contemporary humans, across its several diverse programs. The Brave Balkans, our youngest competition program, explores daring and uncompromising voices in Southeast European cinema, showcasing films of all formats, genres and lengths. Last year, selectors Stefan Ivančić and Maša Seničić announced the biggest and most accomplished edition so far, with highlights including these four stylistically and thematically fresh titles by young authors, consistently pushing the boundaries of cinematic space.
