At the invitation of the Zagreb Film Festival, the Riga International Film Festival is proud to present for the first time a selection of titles which reflect a certain idea of the cinema we want to cherish, defend and promote. It starts with the best of what Baltic countries (Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia) can offer and ends with two festival favourites, covering everything we love in the medium: originality, personality, sensibility and the right touch of quirkiness.
