After he is fired from the Croatian police in the summer of 1991, Nenad decides to leave Croatia under an onslaught of threats because of his ethnicity. He also leaves his family behind, believing that the separation is temporary. To date Bojan Radanović has directed several short films, while his films Before Dark (ZFF 2016) and Letters (ZFF 2019) have also screened in the Checkers program.

Bojan Radanović

Born in Nova Gradiška in 1979. He graduated in film and TV directing at the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb. He is the director of short films Lost (2014), Before Dark (ZFF 2016), Frankfurt, the Capital of Germany (2018), Doobie(2019), Letters (ZFF 2019). He is currently in pre-production on a feature film of the working title Pushback. He lives and works in Zagreb.
