In recent years Slovenian short film has witnessed a lively outburst of exciting new voices who brought with them a touch of long-awaited freshness and spice. Many of these young filmmakers are part of the now very evident rise of animated film in Slovenia, creating either in the field of classic animation or crossing the boundaries of experimental and documentary cinema. The present program showcases this trend, presenting a selection of animated and experimental shorts alongside two documentaries, framing the land far and wide.
