Asja is a 40-year-old single woman living in Sarajevo. Hoping to meet someone new, one Saturday she ends up at a speed dating event. She is matched with a 43-year-old banker named Zoran. Yet, it is not love Zoran is looking for, but forgiveness. The unflinching drama screened at the Venice Film Festival and Toronto IFF. The screenplay was written by director Teona Strugar Mitevska and screenwriter Elma Tataragić, continuing a collaboration started with box-office hit God Exists, Her Name is Petrunija (ZFF 2019; Berlinale 2019 – Ecumenical Jury Award, Guild Film Prize).

Teona Strugar Mitevska

Made her directorial debut with the short film Veta (Berlinale 2012 – Special Jury Prize). She is the co-founder of production company Sisters and Brother Mitevski, with which she also directed the films I Am from Titov Veles(Sarajevo 2007 – Special Jury Prize), The Woman Who Brushed off Her Tears (Berlinale 2012), God Exists, Her Name is Petrunija (Berlinale 2019 – Ecumenical Jury Award, Guild Film Prize; ZFF 2019). Currently preparing his first English-language film, Mother.
