As the last member of a once large family, young scientist Ana (Marija Škaričić) experiences an identity crisis. She buries herself in work, while her anthropological research increasingly intertwines with her sense of loss. In a series of coincidences, symbols and traces in stone become her guide out of the trauma. Dubravka Turić’s debut feature continues her shorts’ successful festival run (Cherries: Directors’ Fortnight in Cannes, ZFF 2018 – Special Mention; Belladonna: Venice – Golden Lion, Sundance, ZFF 2015), premiering at the Warsaw FF.
