Fleeing from albino hunters in Africa, as a child Grace was forced to leave her native Burundi and settle in Rotterdam with her mother and older brother. Now, on the threshold of adulthood, she still feels like a social outcast, further bogged down by her mother and brother’s high expectations. When she meets Kia and her dance group, Grace discovers the exciting world of Rotterdam’s Afro Dance scene where she finally finds an outlet. Moreover, Kia inspires her to finally embrace her African identity. But how far will Grace be willing to go in order to fit in?
