Two Thai brothers, migrant workers, come to Sweden to pick berries. But the heat is extreme, the harvest is poor, and they already had to borrow money to pay for the trip. As they make their way through the forest in search of berries, the brothers’ mood grows increasingly contentious. Berry Pickers is an impressive critique of global class differences. It was shown at the Telluride Film Festival.
