Lonely old farmer Emilio lives alone on an abandoned farm. Everyone who was close to him is gone. All he has left is one ram. As old age wears on him, Emilio finds it increasingly difficult to take care of the animal and decides to sell it. When potential buyers cancel the meeting, Emilio tries to sell the ram himself. In his endeavours, he will face challenges that will confront him with his own obsolescence in this modern world. What Remains is director Daniel Soares’s first short feature, screened at a number of international festivals, including IndieLisboa, Telluride, Clermont-Ferrand and others.
