In post-war Kosovo, two local athletes, driven by the ambition to ensure the survival of their beloved sport, wander from one obscure location to another, carrying with them the club’s only possessions: the tables. Displaced premiered in the Short Film Competition at the Cannes Film Festival and received a Jury Special Mention at Sarajevo.

Samir Karahoda

Graduated in Photography from the Academy of Fine Arts in Istanbul. In addition to his work as a photographer and cinematographer, he is the selector of the short film program at Dokufest (Prizren). His short documentary In Between(2019) premiered at Berlinale as the first Kosovar film to compete at this festival. Displaced (2021) premiered in the Official Competition at the Cannes Film Festival and received a Jury Special Mention at Sarajevo.
